XP Pro Install - Can't Install pro_seg5.swf

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Luke O'Malley, Dec 5, 2004.

  1. Hi,

I was reinstalling XP Pro and I received a msg that it could not
copy pro_seg5.swf. Try again, quit or skip. Well I took skip. It
seems that it is some sort of help file. I checked the XP CD and
found that it had a file pro_seg5.sw_. I suspect this is the file.
What is the _ in the suffix? Does the file need to be expanded or
    just change the suffix?

I am also running a laptop with XP Home and this file does not exist.

As I mentioned, it is supposed to be a help file . . . I need all
    the help I can get,

    Any suggestions?

    Goodwill,
    Luke
