I would like to transfer some data off my company notebook computer and onto
a CD, or other recordable medium.

But, I don't want the notebook leaving traces that I did this.

Or maybe I could setup a share and drag the information over a peer to peer
    network?

Why do you ask? I just want a bigger screen to see my typing, and that tiny
    notebook isn't cutting it.

I suppose I could use a refresher course in this technology.

I don't think in Win95 I ever had to worry about that.

But, now with XP and XP Pro (the co note is running XP Pro) I think I may be
    setting a trap for myself.

I really don't need to do this either. It's more of a want.

    Anyone?

Here is how it plays out:

    1. Calls friend at Comcast.
    2. Locates employee from NNTP-Posting-Host: 69.242.68.81
    3. Fires employee
