xp pro and xp home on a network

  1. i have 2 boxes running xp pro and a laptop running xp home...i can't access
    unless i share a folder not just the hard drive. but on my xp boxes all i
    had to share was the hard drives and everything worked fine... any ideas? or
    should i just upgrade the laptop to xp pro????

    If the drives are shared, then this should work. If you are running any
    kind of firewall software, turn it off for your network.
