WTF: Flash Player issue

    I just went to Adobe.com and downloaded the uninstaller for Flash
    Player. I ran it, and it said flash was removed. I rebooted, and
    I opened youtube with Firefox 2.0.0.17 and saw a flash video playing.
    ***WTF***.

    As a test, I loaded youtube with IE. This confirmed that Flash was
    gone, when I clicked on a video it told me I needed to get Flash
    Player.

    I do have the addon Flashblock 1.5.7.1 installed, but I disabled it
    before I ran the flash remover, and shut down FF.

    Does FF contain it's own built in Flash player, or what??????

    Just to be sure that Flash was removed, I ran the uninstaller a second
    time, it showed that Flash was gone because it did not do anything
    (shown in a little click on text file).

    This makes no sense at all to me......

    My main reason for removing Flash is because it's not working
    correctly on certain sites, using FF.
