WinXP SP2 Won't Allow Macromedia Flash Player Download

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Sens Fan Happy In Ohio, Oct 27, 2004.

  1. I've been trying now for 30 minutes to reset the Internet Explorer
security settings to allow Macromedia Flash Player to download and be
set up, but IE6 and SP2 are not allowing the changes to me lowered
past Medium settings no matter what I try. And I need to get into a
site that requires Macromedia Flash to be able to see something and
can't get it to set up. Any help would GREATLY be appreciated on this
    one.

When you attempt to download and install it, do you get a yellow bat at the
top of the web page? If so, click that to allow the download and
    installation.
