I cannot get my 64 bit vista computer to recognize an Ultra 1Gig USB flash drive. Flash drive works fine in my 2 year old [email protected] CPU 32 bit vista computer, and it also works in my older [email protected] XP computer. The flash drive contains only 12 songs as a test. I re-formatted it in my 32 bit machine in FAT, then FAT32, then NTFS and all 3 re-formats work in my other two 32 bit machines, but not the new 64 bit machine. Amazingly as I was editting this I got it to work, but then I removed the flash drive physically using "safe removal" and upon retrying it does not work again, but it still works in the other two 32 bit machines. It's even more crazy, what can I be doing wrong?? Can someone help me.

Vista Home Premium 64 bit Gateway FX7029E Computer with Intel DG33SXG2 main board, Q9300 @ 2500 MHz CPU, 8 Gig OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 SDRam, (2) 500Gig HDDs, NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT Video card, Acer X2223W HDLCD Monitor running Windows (TM) Vista Home Premium Home Edition 6.00.6001 Service Pack 1.
