Computer went down, nothing worked as it should. Changed motherboard,
then the CPU still the same. Put another HDD in, formatted and still
would not accept WIN XP. Booted up from WIN 98 floppy and installed
WIN 98 which worked fine. Tried to put XP Pro on, went so far then
hung! Only items installed are HDD (formatted) and CD drive. XP would
not boot up from switch on, so far then hang. Took one Dimm out and XP
booted up from switch on and finally installed. Now, installed my
other drive which is partioned into five, XP only finds two!! This is
a 60gb drive, XP finds only 15gb. Can anyone tell me what has
happened to the other three partitions (45gb) Booting up from a
floppy using FDISK all the five partitions are shown on the second

Sounds like the problem was ram and not your motherboard.
