Why do you suppose this newsgroup attracts such off-the-wall posts?

    I can't figure it out.

cannot view kazaa site...I log onto kazaa site then when it loads IE goes
    off

printing...right side of page cutoff when printing...new xp user needs help

    System Frozen while updating...blah blah

Can i save favourites from computer to another?

Microphone...i have the microsoft xp porfessinal computer and i want to know
if there is a microphone built into thid
    computer????????????????????????????

Screen has shrunk...My screen has reduced in size and I now have a black
border along the top and both sides. How can I fill the screen?

So what I want to know is...

What is it about a newsgroup with a name like microsoft.public.certification
that it attracts such off-the-wall posts? I subscribe to over twenty
microsoft newsgroups and of them all this is the one that seems to be be the
flypaper for clueless beginners who don't know how to run their computers.

I think it's great that they know to ask for help, and I hope they get
some - they probably won't get it here - but why in the heck do they come
here instead of a newsgroup that's oriented toward beginner users? And if
they can find this one on the MS news server, why didn't they first find a
    more generally-available resource?

    In puzzlement,
