White balance with on camera flash and Nikon D100, need advice.

  1. I have a question to ask. It bothers me for a long time but so far I could
not find the solution to this problem.

When I use flash in daylight my pictures have a yellow tint to it which I
hate but sometimes when the flash does not have time to recycle and simply
does not fire the picture's white balance is perfect: skintones are natural
    etc.

What happens here? How can I get rid of that yellow cast?

I always shoot on manual with white balance set to Auto.
    Camera: D100
    Flash: Sb -80DX

    Thanks in advance

Shoot RAW - and make WB adjustments later (best option here is the Capture
    One converter IMHO).
