where is the best place to get free PC games

    I've had more luck with shareware games for my pc than buying it
    outright. I'd love to know where I can find free games online other
    than shareware. I've tried Game Tap, it seems to have alot of
    glitches. As a gamer I am only a novice, so any and all advice would
    be greatly appreciated
