What's with all the various versions of Firefox?

    My version is 3.6, which I just updated to. My update notice said
    that was the latest version. What's with these 5 and 6 versions I see
    people referring to?

    The updater usually doesn't do major version updates.

    It may have done it once and you ignored it.
