What's the fastest media for C-5050?

    Hello everyone,
Could someone please advice as to what media is the fastest (that the camera
can take) when used with Olympus C-5050? Does the speed of the media, i.e.
12x or 40x improve in any way the shutter lag or overall performance of the
camera? I.e. I'd assume that if the time to write data from buffer to the
card would be shorter, therefore the overall lag would decrease as well.
Does it make any sense or am I confused? So basically, would I gain much by
getting a 40x CF card instead of 12xwhen used with the C-5050. Or perhaps,
what other media would be better / faster or improve general performance of
the camera? Should I stick with the CF I, microdrive, CD or Olympus/Fuji XD?
I'd greatly appreciate any information on the above topic or perhaps some
recommendations. Thank you all in advance.

    Best regards,

    Alan D.
