What paper to use & do you scan & print at Costco or FedEx/Kinkos?

  1. I have an HP printer (which scans) but not a flatbed scanner.
I have a set of old prints, both B&W & color that I would like enlargements.

Which do you use? Costco or Kinkos?
    What paper do you recommend?

Costco will scan my old 8x10 photos to a DVD for $4.
Then they will print B&W or color (for the same price) for:
    $3 for 12x18
    $6 for 16x20
    $9 for 20x30

Kinkos/FedEx will scan to flash drive for $7.50, and then
print B&W for 75 cents a square foot or color for $7.50
    per square foot.

I don't know what paper to ask for.
    What do you use?
    Which do you recommend?

Depends on what you want. I use Costco for family photos, and specify
matte finish, and find the results quite adequate for my needs. Costco
did a poster for me of a photograph I did of my grandsons, and it came
out quite well for very little money.
