What happened to the prior pages drop down menu?

    You know there are back and forward buttons, and the history
    drop-down menu. But, in Firefox 5, the drop-down menu for recently
    viewed pages has disappeared? History is difficult to use
    sometimes, and I need to go back a few pages or more faster than
    hitting the back button over and over again.

    Can that "recently viewed pages" button be added to the toolbar? I
    don't see the button in the list of buttons that can be added to
    the toolbar.
