WAMP config issue

Discussion in 'NZ Computing' started by Collector»NZ, Jun 24, 2007.

  1. My wamp is giving me a headache. Dont know what a wamp is, well then you
wont know the answer to my problem.

I upgraded from Apache 1.3 to apache 2.2 clean install on a new server.
The old one generated my log files nicely and had all I want in them,
now the log files put the server machine name or the IP 0.0.0.0 in as
the visitor IP, I have read and read references on httpd.conf settings
and cannot work out what I have gotten wrong, any ideas?

  3. Maybe you need to switch to a LAMP instead?

  6. Not greatly different, but I suspect I cant use the httpd.conf from the
old version with the new version, but then again it is unlikely to break
it seriously so might try that and see if it makes a difference
