VRF/MPLS Problem

Discussion in 'Cisco' started by Craig Whitmore, Jul 15, 2003.

  1. Hi all.. Can someone help me..

I have 7206 Router and 1 VRF (basically to split the router into 2 routers)

on the VRF is Interface A and Interface B

Data comes in on Interface A and Goes out on Interface B (ATM PVC in and
Ethernet out) (B is the Default Gateway) and it goes to the rest of the
    internet.

Now I have networks on the Main Router that I want the VRF to see, so I add
2 Ethernet's (1 into Vrf and 1 into Main VRF) and put cable between them and
    run BGP between them.

The Main Question is.. Having a Cable between the 2 Ethernet's is a "waste",
How can I do this internally so I dont' have to use the cable in between.

    Thanks
