VoipGain - new Betamax

Discussion in 'UK VOIP' started by Theo Markettos, Mar 24, 2010.

  1. I recently had to set up a new Betamax account, so I did the usual palaver
of trying a price comparison on their current brands (using progx.ch). I
    came across VoipGain.com.

It's standard Betamax fare, only many of the prices are quite good. It came
out as the cheapest Betamax brand for almost all my destinations, which is
unusual. For example, 2p/min to UK mobiles.

No doubt it won't last, but worth a look for the moment.

I believe it's lasted since about November, each time I've looked

That's very interesting, thanks for the heads-up.

My usual source of comparison information
    does not even mention voipgain

2.1p to call a UK mobile is really good. It's 1.8p if you're outside the EU ;-)
I think it's time to jump ship yet again when the smartvoip credit runs out.

This feels about right for a Betamax company charging 0.02E/min. Have
you factored in the connection charge? (It's in the tiny print.)

The European origin of your credit card doesn't matter. Only your
address when signing in is important, and there is no control. If you
live outside EU you won't pay VAT.
