virus being sent out in mail do not open

    Recently a virus has been making the rounds through the mail.
    It can easily be spotted as it always has an attachment with the name ending
    in a "PIF" format.
    Sometimes the name of the file is "wicked_scr.scr".
    Older versions of AVG are not detecting this virus.
    If you have AVG, update now for the latest info on the virus.

    Rule to live by. Never open an attachment from a source you do not trust.
    Even then, be cautious. Your trusted source could be infected and not know

    Do not return mail? They already have a copy of it. I use SpamCop to report.
    Anonymous reporting is the only way to prevent retailiation.

  3. And, if you don't run a preview pane, you won't have to risk getting it
    while nuking.

    Also, do your windows updates.
