when the host os is Windows 64bit Edition?

  3. The recently released Virtual Server 2005 R2 supports 32-bit guest OS's on a
    64-bit host. VMWare 5.5 supports 32-bit OR 64-bit guests on 64-bit hosts.
And Virtual PC doesn't support x64 at all. It will not install.
