Video camera as a web cam ?

    Please can anyone help with this one.
    Is it possible to use a Canon MVX150i mini DV camcorder as a webcam. If
    so what software is needed ? Secondly, would it also work with Skype ?

    any video cam can be used you just need Hauppauge wintv , I used v3.2 and it
    was perfect

    The cam corder has to be recognized as a video input device in order for
    it to show up in the setup of any video conferencing software.
