Using PTLens & TIFF/Canon RAW - howto add Exif

Discussion in 'Digital Photography' started by James Carpenter, Jul 29, 2003.

  1. I like using PTLens to correct lens distortion. It's a great tool.
The down side is that it only works on JPEGs, and I prefer to shoot
    RAW, (Canon G3) when possible.

I have tried the barrel correction within Picture Window Pro
    (http://www.dl-c.com)
but I cannot correct barrel distortion as nice as PTLens.
The benefit of Picture Window Pro is that it works on 48 bit TIFF's.

I am willing to put distortion correction near the end of my workflow,
and do it in 24bit JPG, but I need to know if there is a way to add
the Exif info to the JPG file so that PTLens can find it.

Does anyone know a way to add the Exif info to a JPG file?
(Or a way for PTLens to work on TIFF's)

    Thanx,
