Using group authentication with builtin Windows client

We have a sister company that uses a Cisco 3000 series VPN
concentrator. Their users mostly connect with the Cisco client, but
I've been asked to get it working with the builtin Windows client,
which is what most of our users use.

One thing they use in group authentication. Is there any way to use
    that with the Windows client?

    Thanks!

  2. It sounds like they're using the cisco client in ipsec mode. To be
able to use the builtin windows stuff they would have to set up
the vpn3k to support L2TP or PPTP connections.
