User control cannot be dragged-and-dropped from Toolbox to a View

    When I try to drag and drop my user control from the Toolbox to a View, I get
    a MessageBox that says:
    An exception occured while trying to create an instance of
    CAB.View.DetailedPositionControl. The exception was "The path is not of a
    legal form."

    FYI, I am using C# 1.1

    How can I solve this problem?
