trunking with 2900 fiber module

    It appears that I have two different types of fiber modules for the
    Cisco 2924. The older one identifies itself as 100BFX and the newer
    ones (which are marked as WS X2922XL V and identify themselves as
    that) does support "trunking " on the fiber lines. Can the earlier
    models have a firmware upgrade to support the trunking, as you can
    "trunk" on the copper ports. Also can the original 2900 series (not
    XL) support multiple VLANs and can the memory 0f 4 Meg be upgraded?
