Someone gave me a USB 2.5" enclosure with a 7.5 gig HDD in it.It works
    fine in Win ME &XP.

I can't get it to work in my Win98SE machines.I know you need '98
drivers for it.There is no brand or markings on the box. However most of
the drivers I found for similar enclosures are identical to each
other. They would seem to be generic, not specific to one manufacturer.

When I plug it in, Windows recognizes it as a "USB Mass Storage Device"
..When I browse to the drivers it starts and then asks for a disc I
never heard of: "Windows 98 SE SP".It only wants 1 file from this CD:
ufd.sys.I can't find that file or anything about the Cd anywhere.

Has anyone had experiences using these USB hard drive enclosures with
    Win 98SE?
