I'm trying to install a NB10 laptop with Debian/Jessie. Current
    kernel is Debian 4.0.5-1 (2015-06-16) x86_64 GNU/Linux.

All system but wired ethernet works fine. Indeed, ethernet MAC
    address is ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff.

Wired interface is known and is initialized as:
    [ 1.006668] r8169 Gigabit Ethernet driver 2.3LK-NAPI loaded
    [ 1.006696] r8169 0000:03:00.0: can't disable ASPM; OS doesn't have
    ASPM control
    [ 1.006878] r8169 0000:03:00.0 (unnamed net_device) (uninitialized):
    unknown MAC, using family default
    [ 1.016941] r8169 0000:03:00.0 (unnamed net_device) (uninitialized):
    rtl_chip cmd_cond == 1 (loop: 100, delay: 100).
    [ 1.017900] r8169 0000:03:00.0 eth0: RTL8101e at 0xffffc90000340000,
    ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff, XID 9cf0f8ff IRQ 88

I have tried to change MAC address without any success. Of course, I
    have installed realtek firmware.

Is this trouble a known issue ? I haven't found any information.

    Best regards,

  2. Have you tested the hint below? [I have *not* tested it myself]:
    | The jessie (Debian testing) installer would boot and run via use of the
    | ‘noapic’ option at the kernel commandline. It could successfully use both
    | network interfaces (ethernet+wireless). I installed this.

    Le Thu, 25 Jun 2015 22:39:23 +0200,
I have tryied with noapic, and in a second time with noapic nolapic
acpi=off before writing here. In first case, kernel boots but MAC address
is ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff. In second one, it doesn't boot.
