SONY DVD PLAYER DVP-SR150 black and white problem

    I connected a SONY DVD PLAYER DVP-SR150 to my TV,and it is showing black and white instead of colour.I changed the LINE from VIDEO to RGB in the setup and it changed to blue and wasn't bright.I've checked the manual but nowhere was it written how to tackle the problem.
    I would appreciate any advice given on how to solve this problem.The DVD player was bought in the UK but i reside in Nigeria,so i don't know if that is a factor.
