some tabs in properties missing desktop windows xp home

    Hi,

    I want to ask help about the problem,
    I miss some tabs, have only the first tab (missing from tab screensaver and
    the rest) in windows XP home.
    I have read the following solution with type in the line run,

    To restore the Desktop tab:

    a.. Open Group Policy Editor by typing "gpedit.msc" in the Open: line of
    Run on the Start Menu.



    But this is only work in windows XP pro.

    Do you have the solution for the problem to repair this in windows XP home?

    I try to find the solution of this but i have not find.

    Start regedit, expand and highlight the following keys and look in the
    right window for "NoDispCPL", "NoDispScrSavPage", "NoDispBackgroundPage",
    "NoDispScrSavPage", "NoDispSettingsPage" and "NoDispAppearancePage".
    If you find them, delete them. You may have to restart the computer for the
    change to take effect.


    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System
    HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

    Beste Jan,
    Ik heb geen nederlandse nieuwgroep kunnen vinden, maar er zijn maar weinig
    mensen die het niet begrijpen, dit kan dan wel geen perfect engels zijn maar
    er zijn een hoop engelstalige mensen die het begrijpen.
    Ik moet toch wat, ik heb het gehele gebeuren op google gezocht, op
    microsoft, via windows update, maar ik heb het niet kunnen vinden.
