My sister has a Canon PowerShot A95. A couple days ago, her daughter
was "playing" with it, and knocked it over hard, and apparently the
shutter button somehow came loose and fell out, though we didn't know
that at the time. I late found it, thought it was a tack, and threw it
    out.

Does anyone know how she can go about getting a new one? Is this a
generic item that you can order online, or does she need to go to a
camera shop to have it fixed?

    Thanks,

    .. Joann

Not worth the cost of repair.

    Hello, Joann:

On eBay <http://www.ebay.com>, camera parts and broken digicams are
always readily available; the latter can be salvaged, for required
    components.

    Good luck!

    Cordially,
