Selecting cells

    When I select one cell two cells are automatically selelcted. How do I turn
    that off. Then I can only toggle with the Tab key between those 2 cells, I
    can't tab over to the third cell. I only want to select the one cell.

    I am using Excel 2007

    Perhaps your question would be better suited in microsoft.public.excel ?
