No, not really on the same par there. But if you were to get a card today, right this second, the best one you could buy, without any doubt, would be the NVidia GeForce 7800GTX, period, no question about it.

The 7800GTX *IS* SLI, and you could use it that way, that's the point. Dual cards. But singly, it's the best card on the market right now. In SLI it's twice the card as anything else. That includes the latest from ATI.

yes but the Actual SLi doesn't lye within the cards does it :p... it lyes within the NForce 4 SLi Chipset :p with its 20 pci express lanes.
I am saying cards that have on board SLI + 2 Cores, maybe even more.

Uh, duh? Didn't I mention my favorite card was a Voodoo back in the day, that was 3DLabs. I know about pro level cards, but we're not talking about them now. Besides, you wouldn't want one, it wouldn't do what you wanted. I have a Wildcat in one machine here and another with an NVidia Quadra, both pro level cards, very expensive, but they're for 3D rendering, video editing and so forth. That's a seperate area of graphics work. We're talking about the gaming video cards, ATI and GeForce boards.

I'm not sure, I don't spend a lot of time wandering around monitoring the spending habits of 15 year olds. Is this some new fad that I'm missing out on? I think I totally got lost in the Blog fad, never did understand the big freakin' deal about idiots keeping a diary online. So, watching 15 year olds buy stuff is the "IN' thing now? Hmm. I may pass on this fad too.

I checked the charter and there's nothing in it about being able to transfer scapegoatness to another member. There are no vacations, you're stuck with it. If you go away it's still your fault.

You are WRONG! You didn't write OR sign the contract, I read it and then signed it. If I take a holiday, which I have, then all my normal duties are transferred to the deputy scapegoat temporarily, thus meaning I take no blame for one more day.

    No option I'm afraid.....

The boys are right XhArD, there is noting in the charter to relieve you of your duties. You can run, but you cannot hide. Once you log into the forums from your holiday location, there will be a ton of blame to be laid. I hope you've prepared for the worse.
By the way, it's still raining here on Friday morning. The wife and I are planning a nice motorcycle ride tomorrow to see some fall colors. If it's still raining Saturday morning, or even if there isn't much to see in the way of fall colors yet, you will be forced to accept blame for that too. :security:
