Revealed: ‘canned’ fox hunting in the heart of England

Further to the recent League Against Cruel Sports investigation into
the barbaric activities of a Welsh gun pack (the Plas Machynlleth), we
can now reveal the findings of an investigation which exposes fox
hunting yet again for the cruel, barbaric and totally unnecessary
    practice it is.

One of the Midland's most recognised fox hunts has been secretly
filmed holding a fox captive in a specially designed chamber before
subjecting it to a prolonged 'dig out' involving a huntsman, hounds
and terrier men armed with spades, pitchforks and drain rods.

The unprecedented film, showing scenes akin to the controversial
'canned' hunting of big game in Africa, was obtained during a major
undercover investigation into the activities of the Croome and West
Warwickshire Fox Hounds. It reveals a catalogue of fresh video
evidence incontrovertibly proving that fox hunting is an elaborate
game that has nothing to do with pest control - and everything to do
    with killing for sport.

During a four-month operation, League Against Cruel Sports
investigators infiltrated the Croome Fox Hounds and gathered extensive
evidence of hunt staff attempting to ensure a ready supply of foxes to
chase and an exhilarating experience for paying participants. Covert
film shows hunt officials systematically making use of a network of
specially constructed artificial earths in a secretive process
designed to source, locate, chase and kill foxes for sport.

Please click here for further information on the investigation and
to read the accompanying report Unearthed.

If you are appalled by what you have seen, please email your MP
directly from the League website and urge him or her to call for the
immediate reintroduction of the Hunting Bill so that this barbaric
activity can finally be outlawed. Click here to email your MP now.

  2. You don't have my support because what you
are doing is completely taking away the natural
predator. YOU are being cruel against animals
and creation. What you insist on is nothing more
than eventual extinction of these and other animals.
You STINK beyond normal human comprehension.
You've decided to place yourself above the creator
who created everthing and that has never worked, Even
your games rangers admit there's no way they will
be able to control the huge numbers of animals that
will earth themselves out of extinction plus they will
seriously deplete the amounts of food for human
consumption. I feel sorry for the animals. I have
a difficult time feeling sorry for a fool.

I agree with your apart from the "only silly bastard "townies" wear Barbour
jackets" bit. I am a country bumpkin and i wear a barbour jacket.

If they ban hunting/fishing/shooting etc, i can't wait till they start
winging about foxs taking over the streets.

If God didn't want us to eat animals, why did he make them out of food?????

  6. Not true. I am totally rural and sadly do have one. The combination of
windproof, thornproof and mildly waterproof plus the ability to stash
enormous amounts of bits and peieces in the pockets make them extremely
useful as a general purpose top covering.

No a patch on an anorak for warmth, but eminently suitable as a top layer.

Its the same with 4WD vehicles I DO take mine across land, especially
down the garden. Its also invaluable in flooded road and snow
conditions. And for caryting sacks ofcement, compost, and trees around in.

The fact that e.g. jeans became a fashion statement, rather than useful
working garb for miners, does not detract from that fact that they ae
still a tough, reliable and - if the normal brands are ignored - cheap
form of truser for working in.

Unlike city girls these days, equipped with bare midriifs, and silver
high heels, who would be scratched to piece and bogged down in less than
100 yards out doors in the country, always assuming they actually know
how to do more than waggle their bottoms and simper, which I see no
evidence that they are able to.

You've never been to London, then? I've see more foxes here per day than

Rabbits are a total menace this year, but all the fixes are going for is

But I expect the gits can at least spell.

  16. What about all teh apalling labour gits who hunt?

And the ones who shoot, fish, and generally do what people actiually do

What's this Labour thing, then? There's no such organisation
any more, that went when the New Labour Tories hijacked what
    used to be Labour.
If they live outside the towns they're likely to be farmers, and so
Tory to a man. At least around here.

  18. Good grief. Anyone who lives out of town has to be a farmer?
