Reseting Password on Pix 501

I have a Pix 501 that I am trying to reset the password. I have been
following Cisco's instructions and have tftp'ed the NPPIX.Bin file
over (It is running version 4.2 OS). It transfers just fine and the
console shows it received correctly. The problem is that after the
file is received, it just sits at that point and does nothing else. It
never asks if I want to reset the password or anything it just sits at
the console after the Received message.

Any ideas on how to get to the next step?

Thanks for any help in advance.

Sounds like you are using the wrong np disk. 501 does not run 4.2 PIX
    OS.
