I am currently studying for exam 70-229 (Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Database
Design and Implementation). Am I correct in thinking that once I have passed
this exam then I will gain my MCP? Or does the MCP only apply to operating
systems exams when taken invidudually? I'm a little confused by this so
would appreciate any advice anyone can give.

    Thanks,

  2. AFAIK, you'll be an MCP after passing any exam.

  3. Apart from the smaller (networking essentials? & some other) exams.

The one you mention certainly will provide MCP for you.
