Reducing memory size of pictures in Canon A70

  1. I just purchased a Canon A70 and took a few pictures which used up
    about 1.4 mbit each on my cf card. How can I adjust the camera or
    whatever so that less memory is used.

    take the pictures at a lower resolution, using a higher compression (try
    640x480 with normal). You will get much more pictures of a lower
    quality. You should buy a bigger Compact Flash card, or you should have
    bought a A60 or even older model if you don't want large pictures.
