red parallel lines on page from Epson printer

Have a Epson stylus photo 830U which now prints a series of feint red lines
perhaps about 15 in number and four millimeters apart across the page in
fairly random places. Thanks for any advice

Hmmm!

I suspect a few cleaning cycles, or perhaps the use of a cleaning
cartridge, first would be a good idea.

You might like to check there is not a stray hair trapped under the print
carriage.
