Recomendations for good (cheap of free) SlideShow Programme

Discussion in 'Digital Photography' started by L. Peter Stacey, Jul 7, 2006.

  1. Having recently gone on a trip and with lots of pictures of same I want to
burn CD / DVD to produce a 'slideshow'. Open to suggestions but seems like a
good programme would need to set variable times (perhaps longer if title
slide with some text) variable transitions, break up into sections
(chapters) so can find items quickly and add music or sound even spoken
descriptions etc. Obviously best if free but am prepared to pay for a good
    programme.
    TIA. PS.

Photodex ProShow Gold is the best one I've come across.

    Hi

I agree with Mike. ProShow Gold is the best slideshow software I have
used. You can download a trial from their website before you buy.
