Does anyone know of decent photo cataloguing software able to handle
thousands of pictures that also allows one to print automatically generated
thumbnails as contact sheets with properly formatted text that is printed
as text and not graphics? A stand-alone utility would also be an option (I
have good cataloguing software in the form of FotoAlbum Pro).

I have tried several programs like Photoshop CS, FotoTime and such but they
all let me down when it comes to printing my very long filenames. First of
all they print them as graphics (makes them unreadable when using small
font sizes), second they do not wrap filenames (essential otherwise the
    most imprtant info is lost)

ACDSee 5.0 does this as far as I can tell

Thanks. I'll check it out. Meanwhile I discovered that iMatch will also do

You will also find that iMatch is a VERY powerful program that is worth
every penny it costs (and more, it is inexpensive to boot).

After playing around with a little I could not agree more (and I
    immediately registered it).
