Problems with IBM Thinkpad R40

    1) I hit the wrong thing somewhere on the keyboard or something. You
    know on the keyboard for the IBM THinkpad R40 how some of the letter
    keys have numbers on them too. Well now when I hit those letters it
    types those numbers or symbols instead. When I type an I, it gives me
    a 5, and so on. How do I stop this?

    2) Also, those little yellow lights that come on below the display?
    One is a battery and one is a moon for sleep mode. Well the one that
    is a circle with a sideways N or Z is lit up all the time now and I
    don't know what it means or how to stop it.

    Those are Function keys (Fn). Press Shift + NumLock/ScrlLock to toggle
    the setting. See below.
    That's the light which will go off when you toggle the Num Lock key.
