I've got a problem with my Cisco Catalyst 2924M XL. When I want to
boot the switch I get the following error message:

    ################################################################################

    C2900XL Boot Loader (C2900-HBOOT-M) Version 12.0(5.3)WC(1),

The system is unable to boot automatically because there
are no bootable files to boot.

I know that there is no IOS image in the flash memory. But how do I
get this image into the flash memory?

  2. Use, Image Loader software that comes with Cisco IOS CD.

or optionally you can use Ymodem transfer thru hyper terminal.

    Cheers.

I'm sorry, but it doesn't work. I always get the message "Permission denied".
Do you have another idea? I really don't know what to do... Thanks anyway!

It works! I tried and I tried and now it works. But not with the Image
Loader Software, you have to use Xmodem transfer thru hyper term.
