Have a PC running winxp pro and a Laptop with XP Home.

Have Broadband connection using a Netgear DG834G Wireless Router/Accesspoint
with built-in ADSL Modem. The Netgear DG834 is connected to the PC through
ethernet. The laptop is a centrino with wireless card built-in.

the laptop can access the internet without any problems. But now want to
share prinnter and files between the two machines.

i have used windows xp network wizard on both the PC and laptop and have set
it up correctly according to the wizard setup. After reebooting both the PC
and laptop, the two cannot see each other. what am i doing wrong or what
needs to be done for me to able to use the printer and files taht are on my
    desktop from my laptop.

    Three simple things are

Make sure you all have the same workgroup name.

Make sure you have something shared.

Have an account with the same user name and passwod on each computer.
