Print to PDF programmatically

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Steve Freides, Oct 15, 2004.

  1. On my machine, I can select PDF writer as a printer, after which I'm
prompted for a file name and then my PDF is created. I need to do this
under the control of an application I'm writing, letting the application
determine the file name, passing it along to the PDF writer and having
the file created, then allowing my program to do other things with the
    file.

Anyone know if this is possible or at least a more specific forum in
    which to ask the question?

    TIA.

  4. How to, under program control, pass a filename of my choosing to the
    PDFWriter printer driver.

Since I posted this, I found out about http://www.cutepdf.com/ - which
looks like it will do what I need.
