PIX 515E and Windows Webserver w/ multiple IPs on single NIC

Discussion in 'Cisco' started by Gilbert T. Gutierrez, Jr., Oct 21, 2003.

  1. I have a PIX 515E w/ DMZ and am having problems reaching secondary IP
    addresses on a web server. The web server (Windows 2000), located on
    the DMZ (not NAT'd), has multiple public IP addresses on a single NIC.

    From inside (local network outside of the DMZ), I can ping all of the
    public IPs on the server.

    From the Internet, I can only ping the primary IP on the server's
    interface. Analyzing the traffic reaching the server, the only
    packets that reach are the ones sent to the primary public IP.

    Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does anyone have a
    solution?

    Thanks,
    Gilbert T. Gutierrez, Jr.
