I want to create a high-resolution slide show and am discovering that Movie
Maker 2 seems (regardless of how high the resolution is on the original) to
    be blurry.

First of all, does anyone have suggestions on how to remedy that with Movie
    Maker 2?

Also, is Microsoft Photo Story any better?

    Many thanks, ~Stuart

If you are attempting to create a DVD, then there is nothing
you can do--DVD video is 720x480, a whole 1/3 megapixel!

If you are creating a slide show on the computer, then PowerPoint or
    similar presentation software is appropriate.
