permission issue, please help

    i had networked 2 pc at my house, both running windows xp. everytime when i try to access files from pc1 to pc2, i would have no problem doing so, but when i try to access from pc2 to pc1, it never works.....i always get the folloing message,

    you might not have permission to use this network resource, contact the administrator of
    this server to find out if you have accedd permission.

    logon failture: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer.

    now, how do i grant the permission from my pc2 so i can access my files in pc1?

    Have you enabled sharing on pc1?
    Have you created a shared folder?

    Are you using XP Home or XP Pro? The sharing options are different for

    You need to create a user on pc2 with the same user name and password
    that you use on PC1.

    Can you please set your word wrap, open outlook express and go to:


    In the section labelled "News Sending Format" and select "Plain Text"
    then click "Plain Text Settings" and the set "Automatically wrap text
    at" to 70.

    My impression is that there is a tool "easy lan folder share" which can solve the problems easily.
