pci.sys file corrupted error during winxp setup

    Hello,

    I am reinstalling winxp sp1 on my dell dimension 4600 using startup disks(floppy) because my stupid brother used FDISK and wiped my entire hard drive. During setup after I get to the 3rd disk I get an error message that says "pci.sys file corrupted". Is this a problem with the boot disk or my hardware? Can someone help me please? What do I need to do?
