I have a puzzler using Outlook Express.
A friend using Windows 98 had his computer crash and replaced under an
extended warranty. He is using the same monitor, keyboard, etc but a
new PC with Windows XP. Now he cannot see text colors in Outlook
Express. I suggested he set his Format for Rich Text (HTML) but he
already had done that. He types and selects colors but always sees it
in B&W. When I receive the mail the colors show fine. He has tried
composing in Word (where he does see colors) and copying to Outlook
Express. When it gets to OE it's B&W. Via phone, we have walked thru
all the settings I can think of with no luck. His display settings all
seem to be the same as mine.
    Any ideas?

Has he checked his screen and monitor (physical) settings?

Mike, he *can* see colours, just not in OE.

    "That's an odd one..."
