Outlook Express 6 suddenly stops working with Hotmail?

Hi,
I use OE 6 and it has been working fine for ages, I have 3 hotmail accounts
that i use in conjunction with OE.
However neither of them are working, they are fine if I log onto
www.hotmail.com - but they do not send or recieve any mail through the
Outlook Express.
Below is one of the errors I recieve :-

"Header download for the 'Inbox' folder did not complete. Account: 'Gavin -
My Account', Server: 'http://services.msn.com/svcs/hotmail./httpmail.asp',
Protocol:HTTPMail, Server Response: 'Authorization Required', Port = 0,
Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 12015, Error Number: 0x80004005

Any ideas what this could be - I have checked the password & its not that -
so i am all confused - any suggestions.
