Olympus OM-D as a reaction to cookie-cutter DSLR "look" or Oly fan nostalgia?

It's no secret Olympus fans have been agitating for years for an OM
digital. In my case, I thought it would be good to be able to access
the sensor by swinging the back open like on the film OM-1n, but I
know they will not include that as a feature because it is too risky
and there are issues with long lead or cable runs from the sensor to
the process electronics. But it is clear that cameras like the M9
Leica, the Fuji X100/X10/XPro1 and possibly this new Olympus are
responses to people who are sick of the current DSLR market
offerings. These are not for P&S migrators like the cheap m4/3rd
cameras are. And no pro is going to ditch their Nikon D3 or D700 for
one of these nostalgia cameras, because people expect those cameras to
show up at pro photo shoots, but pros may very well buy one anyway.
P.S. If this thing does come out, and it is like an OM, expect prices
for used OM-1n's to rise the way silver rises when the gold price
