nVidia WDM Video Capture (universal) Error

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Barry Collins, Nov 16, 2006.

  1. I recently tried to install Hauppauge Win TV-PVR 1300 TV video card. I was
not successful as the software that came with it failed to load properly. I
have uninstalled the software and removed the card with a view to starting
again. When I checked my Hardware/ Device Manager /Sound Video and
GameControllers I note a yellow exclamation mark next to nVidia WDM Capture
(universal). I uninstalled this but when I reboot it comes back. My system
    is Windows XP home version

    Any Ideas please?

Double click on the yellow exclamation mark (properties) go down to
    Device Usage, disable the device.

Unless you never plan on using this board again then.

Control panel / add remove hardware would do this
